Featured Replies

thats awesome, my biggest this year was just under 8 and I caught it down south. My biggest "weighed" fish this year from the Northeast was 5lb 8oz.

My largest todate is in my avatar pic and I didn't have a scale. I've landed 5lbers before but this one was alittle bigger I just wish I could of had a weight on her.

Hey, Wagn, you catch those two 7-1s at the same place? That's funny, though, I also caught a 7-1 this year (and a 7-0 at the same place). Heckuva bass, bro!

nope, 2 different lakes, during two different seasons, on 2 different baits. One midday, and the other was at midnight.

The only thing in common was the weight.

Seems like most everyone had a good year, there are alot of huge weights being put up  :D

Didnt have a scale. Want to say around 4-5. Maybe a bit bigger.. Caught late August on a Damed section of the schuylkill river. Caught this one, and then not 10 seconds later on the backside of the exact same bush, caught another one almost as big..

WOW :D I didn't know RI grew bass that big. Great fish!

Thanks

The lake it came from has given up 4 fish over 9 lbs in the past five years.

Thanks but I would trade you any day for that 9lb-8oz RI bass. That is a monster northern strain for RI. Congrats!

7-3 shore fishing a local pond on a really small jig with a part of a wave tiki gorilla as a trailer. Sorry but I don't have a pic :-[

5lbs. 12 oz. But I only got out on the water 3 times, bad year.

6lbs 12oz. I'm happy with that. Many 5+ pounders also.

7 lbs 7 oz my first drop shot fish caught on 6 lbs test. Suddenly I became a huge fan of drop-shotting :D

Consider it traded!!!!!!!!lol

Lots of great fish here!!! If you don't have a scale, please don't estimate weight, I see some solid 2 pounders magically becoming 4-5+ in this thread lol.

My best was a humbling hair below 5lbs... which really burned me up because my goal was to break 5 lbs in 09.  In my neck of the woods, i'm screaming like ike at anything over 3.5 lol

My largemouth bass for 2009 is a pitiful 1 pounder.I could absolutely not find them this year.My biggest to date is a close 5 Pounds even about 3 years ago.

My biggest smallmouth bass which was caught this year of 2009 is a tad over 4 pounds.

I'm looking to shatter those records in the next 2-3 years.
