Hi guys,

Kinda new here....been peeking in and learning here and there, but need help identifying a fish my bro-in-law caught Monday eve in the Merrimack near  the Nashua boat ramp. I've looked it up, but still not sure....what do you all think? I know...the pictures are not that clear.... :o Thanks in advance.....

Nashua speckled trout.

I need one about that size for an experiment.

I call those "Stupid fish that took my fly" when I'm fishing for trout... It's a fall fish. Chubs usually have a little more of a carp like mouth than a fall fish does.

Fall fish for sure. The Merrimack is full of them, and they are a pain!

I love how they kind of squeak when you're unhooking them haha.
