Anybody know of any access points to the Potomac near where 495 goes over it? I was driving over it today and was thinking.....That'd be nice to fish....

Access for boats or just shore access?

Sorry, I was hoping to get a canoe in, but shore access would be fine, especially the VA shore, as I only have a VA license at the moment.

You can fish either side of the Potomac with a VA license. MD respects VA licenses, even if you are physically standing on MD property, as long as your line is in the Potomac or some of its tributaries. Same goes for VA with MD licenses.

Hold on, I'll send you a PM with access info.
