Yep...that definately beats any fish, animal, or object I have caught...by a looooooooooongshot.

Though I would have been more impressed if he would have done it with pole and line. I am sure those folks who dredge those deep waters come up with some pretty weird stuff like that on occassion.

Question here... Wouldn't the saltwater keep this item preserved on the bottom?

If it turns out to be a Wooly Mammoth tusk I would have that baby mounted for sure. Pretty cool !!!

It is an interesting catch for sure.

But i'd take a 10 LMB over it anyday.

I bet the guy could sell it to a collector for a cool million or so. Put it on eBay and receive a couple 100 thousands.
