He'll be an excellent coach, but anyone with an IQ higher than a slug could've handled the situation better than he did, considering all the idiotic, unnecessary lies that came out of his mouth.

I'm a Bama fan also.Man,am I happy!I've heard alot of sportcasters calling Nick a liar.Has anybody ever heard of changing your mind? I really think he meant it when he said he was not going to Bama...he just changed his mind.I do it all the time.No crime in that.

I guess ones perspective on if he was lying or not all depends on if you are a Bama Fan or a Dolphins fan........then there's Don Shula's own perspective.....as a Vol fan I say its a pile of money most of us wouldn't turn down, now it just remains to be seen if he can do at Bama what he did at LSU.....guess he better for all that $$$$$$$  

I'll give 'Bama three years to run this guy off like the others.  That's one tough place to coach in.  The folks need to face it, there will never be another Bear Bryant.  Then, maybe he can come to A&M if Fran doesn't work out.

Well I wish you 'Bama fans alot of luck. When good old NIck was at Michigan State, he said he would stay and he went to LSU. While at LSU he said he would stay and he went to Miami. He said he was going to stay at Miami and now he is going to 'Bama.

I give him two years before he leaves for some other team.
