Opinions on the movie BORAT!

What were you expecting from it?? A riveting story.

It was pretty much exactly as I expected and I thought it was alright.

What I really enjoyed was seeing it in the theaters. I saw it twice in the theaters. The second time I went I watched the audience more than anything. It was funny to see all the different reactions. There was one guy to the left of me about to have a heart attack he is laughing so hard. At one point he gets to laughing so hard he has to leave the theater. Then there is another couple to the right of me and they laugh at nothing. They were just getting mad. Then there was another couplenear the front that lasted about 5 minutes .... and they left.

Sorry about that my friend was on the computer and that was his opinion. I loved it alot but he didnt. I def. agree it didnt live up to the hype but still funny. The hotel part made me nervous :-/

But it kept me laughing and my friend just got ticked off and didnt like it.

It was exactly what I expected.  Half trainwreck,  half humor.

The nude fight scene was the most humorous part for me.

only movie I ever walked out of before it ended.  I gave it about a 1/2 hr and I looked at the girl I was with and we laughed because we were thinking the same thing.  "We're outta here".

excellent performance by Ali G and overall awesome movie.

being not american i c the whole idea different than u guys

i wathed it with some friends of mine and we had 2 pause it several times cause we couldnt breath any more from the laughs.  ;D

My g/f and I thought it was hilarious....I couldnt stop laughing. I enjoy "off color" humor though....

Wayne

I havn't seen and never want to. I never got the ali g show so I knew I wouldn't like borat. When they were showing the 30 perviews on tv I was thinking that looks dumb.

I've always enjoyed comedy movies such as Space Balls,  Christmas Vacation, Three Amigos, etc.  I've yet to really get into the "new comedy" such as Jackass, Borat, etc.  I don't really find the fun in other peoples pain or in degrading others, and instead find those more annoying than anything.

I thought it was funny, but it lost steam for me about halfway through.  Jackass II was MUCH funnier.   ;D

It did lose a bit of steam.  The last third was a bit anti-climactic.

I haven't seen it nor do I plan to. I've seen enough of punks and idiots in my life, I don't need to see them or experience them when I seek entertainment.

"Pamela I am no longer attracted to you............... NOT!"

I thoght it was funny and pretty original. The hotel seen made me want to vomit but the rest of the movie was good.

i thought it was funny..........................................................................NOT!!!!!!!!!!   lol
