Gosh, there so many.

I really like "my homes in Alabama" By ALabama (I'm from Alabama)

"Country Boy can survive"

"copperhead road" by steve earle is like a great song for a sunday drive on the backroads lol

There so many songs. It soo hard to pick just one.

Brooks and Dunn got a lot. "your going miss me when I'm gone" there just a lot. I cant choose.

But my favorite bands are : Alabama, Brooks and Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Johnny Cash, Hank William jr, and Toby keith. There are many more, but those are my top favorite.

Stand by your man....................Tammy Wynette

"Smokey Mountain Range" Ronnie Milsap

"OD'ed in Denver" Hank Jr.

tons of other old school country...way to much to list...

If I'm listening to country it better be "outlaw country".

Old: Highway Men. - Waylon, Willie, Johnnie, and Chris.

New: I have two.

1: Whiskey for my men, beer for my horses. - Toby and Willie.

2: I love this bar. - Toby.

Oh, and anything from the "Cowboys from Hell" Pantera. ;D

Good times,

One of the few country songs that I do like.  Weddings?  Does the wife know about this?

yeah for some reason, all of our friends. (wives included) sing this song at every wedding, just a good ol' time for everyone, plus everybody knows it.

Brad Paisley's (I'm Gonna Miss Her).

I lost a bunch of girlfriends and 1 wife because of my fishing an hunting.  Too bad for them.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned "Amarillo By Morning" from George Strait.

You just did

I'm surprised nobody mentioned "Amarillo By Morning" from George Strait.

Easily one of his 3-4 best songs.   I have always really liked his song King of Broken Hearts.

Kent, once upon a time I spent eleven years living overseas while working in the oil patch.  Three years were spent living in Iran (before the revolution)  Needless to say, we Americans tended to band together and to party - A LOT.  In three years, regardless of the host of the party, YOU DON'T HAVE TO CALL ME, DARLIN  was heard and heartily sung by all attendees.  Those were some really great times to the best of my recollection.

I absolutely love classic country music, especially the outlaws (waylon, willie, johnny cash, merle haggard, chris christopherson, etc.)  There are very few current country singers that I like (brad paisley, dierks bentley, and some of toby keith).  but i absolutely CAN NOT STAND these pretty boy "country" bands like rascal flatts.  everytime i see or hear them representing country music i get a little bit of vomit in my mouth.  seriously, i don't even see how they have anything to do with country music, and those idiots big and rich... who do they think they are?  i wish johnny cash would strike them down from heaven!  personally, i keep my radio tuned to classic country.
