AVID AND GAILS VISIT

Featured Replies

Hey Fellas; Avid and Gail were up in NY and I was at my girlfriend Elaine's house in Brooklyn, my hometown!

Avid and Gail came for a visit Sunday; I knew meeting him was gonna be special and rewarding, and it was. AVID is the real deal and the four of us ate a great meal and laughed for far too few hours. It is one of the great pleasures of my life and the best thing i have recived from this site is my friendship with Avid. I cant wait til we get a chance to fish together in Florida 8-)

Congratulations, i'm glad you and avid enjoyed your visit.

One of the best things about the forums...

That's great Muddy.  I haven't met you or Avid but you both seem like great people.  Now get your tail down to Florida and catch one of those Florida hawgs!  ;)

Muddy, you are a lucky man.  Two things I want to do before my number is up are to meet, and hopefully fish with, both Avid and Catt.

Maybe the four of us can do a small trip together to lets say LOUISIANA someday????????

You're on, my friend!  I know I can talk Catt into it, because all I have to do is wave a few links of boudin under his nose and he will agree to anything.  I haven't come up with an Avid lure , yet.

Pizza.  And don't forget the Anchovies !!!!

Meeting Dominick in Brooklyn was sooooooooooo perfect.

My wife is a Brooklyn girl, and we had a great time.

Elaine very graciously invited us to her home, where the mudster BBQ'd some steaks.

Here are four people who never met each other and yet there were no awkward moments at all.

We instantly fell into chattering and joking about Brooklyn, fishing, BassResource.com, and of course the Yankees and the mets, like there is really anything to talk about (Pinstripes rule)

Elaine is pretty and sweet and she and Dom make a perfect couple.

I had brought up some fishing gear from Florida to give to muddy, but I forgot to bring it to brooklyn (you can't fix stupid)  One of the items was a plug knocker because he has hung a few crankbaits.  I bought the thing for Lake fork, but have no use for it in my weedy Fla. lakes.

Anyway I'll ship it and a few other little suprises to his house.

He made me three excellent cd's.  A classic blues, a BB king (my man) and Thelonius Monk.  Excellent quality and great listening.

It was a trip that went by too quickly, but now he has two places to stay in Florida, so I'm sure he and Elaine will be coming down soon.

I would love to meet and fish with you guys.  Louisiana sound cool but  maybe Georgia......Those big Varner bass are calling my name, but we have time.

sounds like an "ole farts outing"   Hey Glenn, maybe you should start a new forum  ;)
