Earlier today when i was out fishing. I was trolling along a bank and seen a ski boat coming around the bend, some 200-300 yards away. Where i was fish is about 200 ft between the shore lines. As i kept watching this ski boat coming down the water they was running down the water towards me. This person driving came right up next to me, so close i could have took my 6'6 rod and touched the boat. Now that was just a bit to close for me. Why do ppl do that? Do they have no respect? What i wanted to do was tie on a sinker with a treble hook and wait for them to come back thru ;D, but instead i just packed up and headed to another spot to fish. UGH >

Wow.  If they continue to zip in that close to shore they'll eventually ruin their boat and injure or kill themselves.  Not too smart.

Put on a big heavy sinker...with the lightest line without breaking it on the cast.  When they come by again....just let it fly toward the boat.  See if they get close next time.... 8-)

Seriously though, I am pretty sure it is illegal to zip THAT close to someone while they are fishing. If I were you I'd report it! Here in Virginia it IS illegal and a boater can not be no closer than 100 feet from a fisherman!  8-)

I have heard paint ball guns are very effective.  They are also good for jet fleas as well.  Don't think I have the nerve to use one but have heard of some that have and are very effective.  Agree with others, proabably best to report them, not as much fun as ripping off a few pait projectiles their way, but probably safer for everyone.

id like to snag a skier or two myself    but be carefull who you start up with  my buddy found out the hard way when he started with a guy who turned out to be a ufc fighter   needless say he barley got away with all his teeth

Never ever fight with an idiot.  They will pull you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Since natural selection is not much of an issue for humans anymore we have to bear with this issue of sub-par intelligence.  We are unfortunate that they always figure out how to breed.

The big air horns  for emergency onlys works perfect, ;D when they are close enough like that, point it and blow the darn thing and watch'em flinch, most have slowed down. 8-)

Remember get the biggest one and lay into it on them.

That look and responce you get is exactly what you'd get on the water, maybe get creative and slam on the air horn button repeatidly, over and over as they go by-to them it  kinda sounds like "PULL OVER"!!

Usualy several bottle rockets fired at the oncoming offenders takes care of things. But nothing beats steady long-range 1 ounce jighead fire.
