these were slow smoked for 18 1/2 hours

looks like the next time i fix some of that up i'll have to check into how to mail that stuff. lol i could probly make a bundle j/k that would get me a g loomis in a matter of weeks   ;D ;D ;D ;D

Too late. I have to feed the craving now. I just ordered a BBQ sandwich from red, hot & blue. Can't wait till it gets here.

BassHunter, what's a Green Egg? It kinda looks like a Weber, but I noticed that there seems to be an aluminum pan between the meat and the heat. BTW, that is one good looking pork butt.

Long Mike a green egg is a cast iron smoker that weights over 900 lbs or there abouts. my dad bought the big green egg about 1,500 lbs and the lil green egg near 900 lbs i think it is. look up on line the big green egg heres a pic of it just for a peek

There is a BBQ Championship show on either OLN or Outdoor Network.  Its an interesting show...gives me ideas to steal when I grill and smoke   (meat).  They use the Green Egg in one of the rounds.
