I just think it would be a good idea for the Mods to pm people on why there post get deleted so they do not make the same mistake next time. Or If you are like me you get paranoid and think you accidentally hit preview instead of submit then spend 5 minutes thinking to post what you said again or just leave it alone. Or you guys have to delete to many post a day were this would become a hassle? (BR is a good community so I doubt that)

PMs are generally sent when the post is TOTALLY OBNOXIOUS, UNACCEPTABLE or COMPLETELY OUT-OF-LINE. Otherwise, posts are deleted for cause (usally part of an agrument) and would not seem to need explanation. Often posts may be deleted if they are deemed "off color",

sexual, political or religious. Unless you are a repeat offender like avid and muddy ,

you probably will not receive a PM. On the otherhand, if the PM is deemed aggressive, insulting or is a reoccurring violation of Forum etiquette, a PM may serve as a warning before more severe action is taken.

I deleted it. I assumed that you were smart enough to understand why. Instead of congratulating one of our youngest members on catching his very first bass. You decided to challenge him on his decision to keep the little bass for a picture. I deleted it before the young man could see it. I didn't what him to get discouraged. Do you understand now.
