It can take a while depending on when you sent the money. I dont subscribe to bassin but i think there are only 8 issues to a year (maybe in was 10 not sure) if you don't receive it soon then consider yourself scammed :'(

It was only like $7 bucks fora  3 year membership, seemed too good to be true but I know it was posted here and a few others signed up - I am windering if I was the only one that got scammed...

I contacted Bassin about that because I got the mag too.  What they told me was it could take up to 12 weeks becasue it has to go from the sub-sales to them up to 6 weeks at each.  Hold tight and see, I'm right there with you brother!

I love the magazine and subscribed using the card insert where it was 5 issues for 1 penny. I have not received mine either but I suspect with only 8 issues per year I will receive the 1st one in spring.

Basschaser, my friend did that and got his five issues, then they keep sending him a new one and say this is the last one and pay us (but you dont have to). So those 5 issues have been 7 for him and they keep coming. This just goes to show that they dont need you to pay that subscription and they get all their money from advertising. I am going to send in the insert to get a free trial and see if they keep sending me new ones because it is a great magazine. I really like this months.

I never did recieve the mag.  I forgot all about it untill I bought a copy of Crappie world the other day.  I guess since I used paypal I'll have to contact them and file a complaint.

I didn't go the ebay route, but I paid for a subscription and never received anything after the first issue. I contacted Bassin and they keep saying they will look into it. That was last April.

Well I just contacted Bassin and they said they have no record of me being in their system.

I did go onto PayPal and download my history from the last year   and I think I narrowed down the name of who the money went to.  I'll be contacting PayPal when I get home from work and hopefully get my $ back.  I know it wasn't much but I work for that and I'm not giving it away.

Once I make sure I have the right name anyone wanting the name as well PM me and I'll send it to you.

Bassin does not offer a 3 year subscription.  This guy took all of us that made the post here, I am going to assume it was the same person that made the deal on Ebay.

Doesn't sound like Bassin is a sharp outfit anyway as Maltese I think it was didn't do the ebay thing.

Maybe I'll start a boycott Bassin thread. If we get enough aye aye's on the thread maybe I'll send a link to both Bassin and Walmart as maybe Wallyworld could put heat on them.

I did that type of deal with ATV Sport and my subscription did start. I think it took like 3 or 4 months but it did eventually start up. That's too bad you guys never got your stuff since I know people who did that with other magazines and had no problem.

I don't know about the ebay deal.  I purchased my subscription from magazinepricesearch.com which has some good deals.  I have received all of my issues, however the monthly billing invoice is quite annoying.    I have contacted the BBB in Tulsa but haven't heard back from them yet.  See the above related thread for more information and additional points of contact.

I got the mag off of Ebay last year and I believe that it said in the posting when I bought it that it could take up to 90 days to receive the first copy - which it did. But I did get it along with the bills that said I never paid, but they quit sending those some time back and I still get the magazine.

Wonder how they stay in business? :-/
