 It was great to have such a beautiful snow! They're usually not near that nice. They never last much more than a day, two at the most and then they're gone which is why we never have to shovel the stuff ...

6" and the city is shut down, move to the Buffalo/WNY area if you want REAL snow.

yea it was the same way here but its all about melted away now. Yesterday we actually found some snowdrifts that were 2-3 feet deep

Wish we could get some around here. We use to get some but not lately.

89°F yesterday.

We got the most snow I've seen since I was a kid last Thursday (after being almost 80 degrees a day or two earlier).  We had almost 9 inches of the stuff.  It was VERY beautiful!  The only downside was my wife got stranded away from home.  Fortunately, she turned around and was able to spend the night at her uncle's house.  My daughter and I got to do some tubing.  We had a great time!!  

As for the bad driving, it's one extreme or the other.  Some folks are going 90 to nothing and others are creeping along at 5 mph (even after the roads are clear).

The good thing about our snow is that it was gone by Saturday and we had 3 inches of rain last night.  It's been a weird week for weather here in North Texas.
