DVR...dont know how I lived without it

Featured Replies

man...got a  hd dvr (digital video recorder) a couple days ago...I am asking myself why I never upgraded a LONG time ago...I will never miss a show again...it holds up to 35 hrs of video...now I just gotta finger a way to download stuff to pc and edit and burn to dvd

Rub it in! We moved from NC where we lived off DVR shows, hardly ever caught live TV cause every good show we missed was recorded.  Now, in the part of OH we are in doesnt offer DVR yet, and we are hating it!  Definitely worth it, I'd pay $50 a month for DVR just to catch all my fishing shows!

I haven't watched live tv in 3 years.   Best thing since sliced bread.  ;)

Mines full of "Bob the Builder", "City Limits", and "The Bass Pros"

lol.... :D

Love my DVR. I could never go back to live TV.

Wanna see your DVR have a fit? Set it up to record all episodes of Law & Order. Learned that one the hard way. ;D

Great invention for sure. Just set up everything I want to watch to recored and watch it later and fast forward through all the commercials.

Yep, 3 1/2 hour football games without all the commercials are only about 1 hour with fastforward on the DVR as are NASCAR races, etc., etc.

TV.  No cable.  No roof antenna.  Antenna on top of TV.  I know,  stone age.   Besides the fishing shows,  I really can't say that I mind all that much.

That's why I got two.  The one downstairs has Little Einsteins, Clifford and Curious George.  I have the HD DVR upstairs for daddy.   8-).

DVR is the best.  The only live TV I watch are sports.

man..edit...it holds up to 35 hrs of video...now I just gotta finger a way to download stuff to pc and edit and burn to dvd

Pull the HD and slave it to your pc.....  Burn to Disk

Hey any of you guys build your own DVR out of a computer ;)
