Anybody loyal to any kind?

Anbody have a good testimonial about bibs or jackets?

I'm thinking about getting a set of BPS 100mph bibs and a north face rainjacket.

I have the 100mph and I love them but the Cabela's Guidewear are slightly better quality.

I wear only Mountain Hardwear and The North Face.  :)

Frog togs worked for about a year then they crapped out, I didnt like them too much

I have gore tex now and I'll say they're really good.  I have the light rainwear because you can always put stuff on underneath them.  They withstand erie really well though, I'd say a wave to the face is a good test for a rainsuit  ;) ;D

No complaints thus far about BPS Pro Qualifier rainwear.  They have seen some rather nasty weather this year.

I just asked the same question on here last week under the title rain gear 101, or something similar.  Lots of the same answers there, helpful stuff.

I've heard more people swear by their Cabela's Guidewear than any other rain gear.

The Guidewear will last for a decade or more.

My wife bought me a set of Columbia's about ten years ago and they still keep me completely dry.

Don't leave home without mine.

Sorry about duplicating the post. I should have searched harder before I asked.

Another question: I've seen some sets that have a neoprene inner cuff on the jacket. Does the guidewear have this?

The Guidewear jacket and parka both have what Cabela's calls a "floating" cuff.  This is a stretchable GORE-TEX cuff to seal out the moisture.
