What do these men have in common?

John Elway, Michael Jordan, "The Great One", Brett Farve, Vince Lombardi, Jack Nicholaus, "The Iron Man", Roger Staubach, George Brett, "The Bus", Tiger Woods, Jim Thorpe, Pele, Sweetness, Lance Armstrong, Ozzi Smith, Muhammad Ali and my personal favorite, Jerry Rice.

A combination of natural talent and work ethic, nothing more.

I'd have to add to RW's two attributes of those on his list: a firey COMPETIVENESS and DESIRE TO WIN:o)  (sometimes alluded to as "the HEART of a CHAMPION")

Well, you are right and there are many men,

not just celebrities, that make the grade.

I believe we have some here on the Forum

and I have met a few.
