Who wants to go to Jack in the Box tomorrow?

Featured Replies

Man, they don't even have those around here. I only see them when I go on vacation...

Yeah it would cost me $50 in gas to get to one. I guess I'll have to pass.  :-[

No thanks. We don't have those around here but if I remember correctly their food poisioned or killed some people at one time. At that point I put a reminder back in my mind somewhere that if I ever saw one not to stop and eat.

I live on the edge.  :)

You mean there not everywhere?  There are as many Jack in the Cracks around here as there are Macdonalds.  I'll go get me some free tacos tomorrow:)

LOL.  Be careful there buddy!

I've been to the bottom via Taco Bell once.  Made me sick as hell for 2 solid weeks, thought I was done in.

When I use to live in Nashville, TN, I heard a story about a guy who died of food posioning at one of those restaruants.  It was always called "Death in the Box" after that.

There are 3 Jack in the boxes within driving distance of my work. I usually go there on lunch break......I have all of my gas receipts for the last 3 weeks in my wallet  . I will have a pretty good lunch tomorrow.

If I remember correctly, I think Jack in the Box was one of a few restaurants that got caught serving horse meat in their burgers back in the late 80's/early 90's.  There was one in my home town for a couple of years before it closed down somewhere in the mid-nineties.  One has re-opened since then.  We have one where I live and the food is pretty good most of the time.  You can't beat the 99 cent breakfast jacks.

The tacos are nothing to write home about, but free food is hard to pass up.  They are normally only two for a buck anyway.  They'll recoup that in drink sales for the day.
