Dark Knight

I really liked it, thought they over-hyped Ledgers Joker because of his death, he did play it in line with Frank Millers vision but not worth all the hype.

As far as the next villian they did give a couple of clues as to who it could be.   When he was getting Fox to upgrade his suit Fox said it would stand up to cats,  Catwoman.    And as someone pointed out on another forum there is an air of mystery around Mr. Reece and he had was in this one to much to be a bit character.  With the mystery surrounding him the Riddler is right there.

I'm not sure about the other villans, but I hope that they skip over the stupid ones...ie Penguin, Riddler, Mr. Freeze.  I hope DC Comics sticks with ones that are somewhat intimidating and respectable.  Those dudes are just goofy.  I mean joker is kind of out there, but at least he doesn't eat raw fish and waddle.

I agree with the penquin and Mr Freeze. but i think the riddler could be done right if they made him a little darker and not as campy.

Catwoman would be another one... But she is kind of a good guy sometimes these days...

I would like to see a bunch of lower tier villains all thru the next movie, all being manipulated by someone behind the scenes that turns out to be the Joker at the end... I know w/o Ledger it would be hard to do, but I think it was the writing that made the character so good.  Ledger's acting was great, but any capable actor could pull it off, I think.

Wouldn't it be cool if they borrowed Lex Luthor as the next villain?

BTW *spoiler alert*

Is it definite that Two-Face is dead?

I saw this movie and it was really awesome defenitley worth the money. But my gripe why the hell is anyone applauding at the end of a movie. There is absolutely nobody associated with the movie in the movie theatre. Do any of you clap when your favorite football team scores a touchdown when you are at home watching a game on tv, I sure hope not. applauding at the end of a movie is ridiculous, who are you applauding the guy running the projector for not messing up and putting half the movie on the roof. Hope I didn't offend anyone.

Not offended. I applaud myself and the rest of the audience for picking a show that was worth it for a change! Everyone at my showing stood up to applaud. I thought the production was exceptional.

BTW,

We raise the roof at my house everytime the Broncos

make a great play, let alone score!

8-)
