man this sucks

Featured Replies

I just got my braces like 4 hours ago and they already hurt. Anyone els have or had these and do they hurt like this all the time?

it will go away about the time for the new bands. Then it will hurt for awhile again. It will go away though. Everytime you get new bands and tightened it will hurt some.  Its worth it.  Ladies like a nice grill 8-)

Sorry dude. Im sure it will go away, until they tighten them again.

Thats why Im content with my crooked teeth.   ;D

Its worth the temporary pain, after a few months you will forget you have them on.

Kind of like being married! ;D

Yeah, it will suck for the next 2+ years buddy.  :)

I had them for 3 years I think, but in the end it's worth it I promise.

It'll hurt for a while, but its definitely worth it. I had mine on for 3+ years before getting them off this summer. Ice cream for breakfast always helps  ;)

Just remember.  DO NOT get in a fight.  First punch you take will be to the mouth, and smash your lips all over your braces.

That is very good advice. I cannot imagine how bad that would hurt.
