Just came home from the hospital. Her mom stayed with her tonight. She's doing much better, I can't believe her tolerance for pain. She's refusing most of the pain killers and morphine. I'd be loopy by now for sure. :-?

I told her about this thread and all the nice things everyone has posted, guys you all made her smile. I'm so grateful to have your support and friendship. :)

She goes home tomorrow, it'll be ~3 weeks before she is back to normal.

Going home is the best medicine.

Get well soon Gidget.

I don't take narcotic pain meds either. The trick is to take it a day at a time, and focus on what is better tody than it was yesterday. Hey Robet tell Gidget she can call or PM anytime for support.
