How's she doing today Robert, first few days after major surgery are the hardest. Still in my thoughts and prayers

Just came home from the hospital. Her mom stayed with her tonight. She's doing much better, I can't believe her tolerance for pain. She's refusing most of the pain killers and morphine. I'd be loopy by now for sure. :-?

I told her about this thread and all the nice things everyone has posted, guys you all made her smile. I'm so grateful to have your support and friendship.

She goes home tomorrow, it'll be ~3 weeks before she is back to normal.

Going home is the best medicine.

I don't take narcotic pain meds either. The trick is to take it a day at a time, and focus on what is better tody than it was yesterday. Hey Robet tell Gidget she can call or PM anytime for support.
