Which is better?  Which do you prefer?

If its not draft, can all the way.  I don't get the bottle.

Whatever is free at someone else's place.

My house = Bottles    ;)

All beer is better poured in a chilled glass.

Poured beer releases aroma which enhances the taste.

The best of all worlds is a "same day" fresh keg.

This is beer which has not be pasteurized.

How do I love canned beer? Let me count the ways....

-cools down faster

-easier to store

-easier to dispose

-lighter

-cheaper

-chugs faster

-safer (never seen anyone get a can busted over their head or cut by a can)

cans > bottles

I agree with this man 100%! ;)

cans > bottles

obviously, you have never seen someone try to crush a can of beer on their forehead.... ;D ;D ;D

or push the top of the can in to use as a spitter   ;)

Back when I used to chew, I cut my thumb more than a few times doing this  LOL

I'm gonna have to disagree with "safer." I have a friend who likes to shotgun cans of beer on his head (just shake it up and pound your head), and one time he did it the can split in half and cut his forehead open.

I agree, except for the chilled glass part.  Good beer shouldn't be served ice cold.  Beer that is too cold numbs the taste buds and one does not get to enjoy it as much.

I have heard and read this statement from a variety

of sources and experimented with different temperatures

myself. The flavor is enhanced, sometimes dramatically,

at somewhat higher temperatures, but I prefer beer at

something very close to thirty-two degrees! The overall

enjoyment of an ice cold beer outweighs what is lost in taste.

It also depends alot upon the style of beer being consumed.  A porter or stout at 32 degrees isn't nearly as good as one that warmer.  An American Lager on the other hand should be served very cold.

So a temperature preference is also dependent upon style preference.  I tend towards the darker beers and hence like them to NOT be ice cold.

Gotcha!

I like a Guinness or Black & Tan

occasionally and these drinks are

much better "cool," not cold.

That is the order of things. Guinness is good. Killens on Draft is great.

I like dark beers more than the light colored beers. I like flavor. Ice cold bud light is good but I will take a Killens any day over that.

One day I want to brew my own beer just to try it out.

For some reason cans always taste a little more bitter to me. It is probably in my head as Bud has done countless tests to disprove this. It still has a slight bitter after taste to me. I'll still drink it though!!!

You can reseal a bottle and put it down without worrying about it being turned on its side.

Actually, I think most bottles today are plastic.  :)

Guinness is meant to be served ice cold.
