The Ultimate fishing ringtone...If you like the quantum song!

Featured Replies

OK so I know that this is pretty rediculous. I am not very tech savvy but I did figure out how to make my favorite fishing commercial my ringtone. My favorite is when Shaw says, "thats a big ol pig"....My wife thinks I am crazy everytime my phone rings.

Anyway, I know some of you are as helpless in your addiction as me and may like it. You can download it here.

Scroll to the bottom and save to your computer. then email or text it to your phone. It puts a smile on my face everytime it rings.

I tried to d/l this, but it's 31 seconds long.  One second too long for VErizon to let me d/l it.

DARN!

If you get text messages, I can probably text it to you....not sure though. You can PM me your number if you want me to try.

Now that right there is just funny.  I put that on my phone last weekend.  I thought I was going to be the only one.

Ok, here is a completely free ringtone sight, and they let you customize your own as well.  All you have to do is download that song on your computer, to to myxer.com.  Upload it there and customize it to fit your phone then send it as a text message.   If you pay for text messages then you will be charged there, but the site is completely free.

another site you can use to create ringtone from any song on your computer is www.mobile17.com. You can even cut the beginning and end of the song to fit your phone. Try it out. There is a pay option but you can do it for free it just takes longer to get the text message for the d/l url.

I've always wanted Jimmy Houston's old theme song, "Hey, Jimmy, I think we'll have to go again sometime. . .".  Anyone know where I could get it?

Hey fishingman, do you have the Motorola phone tools program?  If so you can use that to transfer from pc to phone and vice versa.

That's how I get ringtones, etc on my SLVR.

If anyone still has the quantum song file, I would be very happy if you would E-mail it to me at: dodgeguy00@yahoo.com

Thanks in advance!!!

I have Motorola's phone tool software as well. Downloaded the whole song to the pc and then edited it and transferred it to my phone. I've done this with several songs now. Great little tool! I've had the Quantum song on my phone for a few months now.

Gummybear, I'll see if I still have the original and send it to you.

Way too much work.  Any tone/song I want, I just play it on the computer while holding the phone up to the speaker in the record mode. Then just set that file as a ringtone.  You can't tell the difference.

Great if you like to listen to things on your phone, horrible if you want to be able to actually hear the phone ring.
