anyone ever use texas rigs? i have a big kit with all different types of plastics and such and i'm considering trying them. have they worked for you guys at all this year?

I don't know anybody that hasn't.

I am not sure that this might be a loaded post. Yes, since they came out 40 years ago.

1949 would be the official birth year of the now famous Creme worm; that would be 59 years ago; in the 1964 Creme's Manufacturing catalog was the first to mention the Texas Rig by Creme. The first time I recall the Texas rig was in pictures from a 1958 Field & Stream magazine.

I've caught about 150 bass on T-Rig so far this season. Do yourself a favor and fish a T-Rigged worm.

. . . . or a T-rigged Tube.  If you are serious about having never used the t-rig, you absolutely have to add this to your techniques.

Buy yourself some tungsten bullet weights.  This will help you immensely with detecting bites versus limbs/brush/etc.
