Xmas gift ideas for those who are stuck.....

Recommended Posts

A low Budget Hooker is an angler who looks for the value instead of the hype.

When you see the wake baits that are coming, and the price of them compared to the similar ones, you'll understand that with "Low Budget Hookers, you don't need to be rich to get a little action"

8-)

He said value over hype. Under Armour does not fit that criteria.

Plenty of value there.  I didn't get cold at all this deer season.

I guess not. Ridin' the roads with the heat blastin' looking for deer is great for staying warm. Maybe if you had actually gotten out of the truck and went in the woods to do your huntin', you might have a different story.  ;D

9* last Saturday morning, the only part of me that got cold were my eyelids.

UA may be $$$, but it works better than anything else on the market.

Cotton is the enemy!

I beg to differ on the UA, I played many a football games and about died of a heat stroke when I was out on O and nearly froze while I watched our D play. UA cold gear long sleeve mock is what I wore

I think the secret with Under Armour is that you need to stay moving. If I stop for an extended period  while wearing my gear, I start to get cold. It's a weird clammy feeling.

I would agree with that, hate the clammy feeling. I have no Under Armour left, the girl has taken it all. If I bought a Low Budget Hooker hoodie, I don't see her stealing that and wearing it.  ::) >:(

You come pre insulated, how would you know what's warm and what isn't???

Oh goodness, you've been swindled, lol.  Wake up man.  UA is a 4 way poly.  Nothing more uncomfortable.  "Other" companies use buffer weaves and such on all 4 way stretch poly because they KNOW that having an air zone between the skin and garment (especially straight poly) is critical.

UA is an outer wear that's function is strictly to be a skin tight anti microbial ego fix, lol.  Made more for the cheerleaders than the athlete, IMO, the epitome of HYPE.  NO value.

Cotton is the enemy!

I agree.  ESPECIALLY when we are talking socks.  When people wear 2 pair of cotton socks, they only double their problems.

My personal favorite for warmth is a worsted wool/silk blend 2 way stretch garment.

and thanks for your continuing support Burley.

I have never, ever been disapointed in any thing I have been involved with Russ.

Except roadtrips... he shows up to half of them a few days late!   ;D ;D

So if I find great value in a few of the higher priced reels/blanks, would I still qualify as a Low Budget Hooker?   :D

Absolutely, especially considering the hours you put into them and the fact that the "building" part is already free.  You have no excuse NOT to use the good stuff, value is value ;)
