Just turned on Sunday Night football - it's 73 degrees in Dallas, at night, in December.

By contrast, current temp outside is 25 degrees and snowing, expected to drop into the high teens tonight. Winds have been gustng 20-40 mph for the past 36 hrs.  Tomorrow's high will be 29, with a low of 10 degrees!  BRRRRR!!!!

Check this out .....

It was 60 degrees this morning.

Currently it is 12 with 30 mph winds with a sleet/snow mix.

We're starting to get the wind you've had with a trough of cold air  to boot.  News today said 20-30 below windchills for next day or so.  Thanks so much!

it seems alot of us are getting the same cold front coming thru. here in illinois by chicago  it was supposed to get around 60  for the high and around midnight  the temps are supposed to  drop way down with freezing drizzle crap.

Well we had 5" of snow on the ground here Wednesday and at this moment it is 74* and we have the A/C on. Ya'll enjoy.

It was 69 degrees in Tulsa at 3:00 this afternoon.  I was happily  placing the outdoor Christmas lights in my T-Shirt.  Before I was finished I was wearing my winter coat.  It's now 24 degrees, with a wind chill of 13.

Glenn,

Just talked to my folks (in Dallas) and it's not as balmy as it seems, the wind chill is in the upper 60's.   ::)

Went from 47 this morning to a -9 windchill in Iowa.  In certain places there was over 60 degrees in temperature difference in this state.

I spent 2-3 hrs this afternoon doing stuff outside I should have done back in October.  I figured it was going to be my last real chance.

2hrs later and it's 21 outside with a windchill of 10 degrees.  And "they" say it's going to be like this for at least a week.

Hard to believe just 2 months ago we were fishing when it was in the upper 80's.

Seems like just yesterday I was on a calm lake on a warm spring morning. ;)  Wish it were true.

You girls want some cheese with that whine?  Maybe you should wear some panty hose under your skirts.

Sorry if some of you decided to take this negatively.  It was the furthest from my mind.  I'm just in awe of nature and thought I'd post about it.

Long Mike - WOW!  A nearly 50 degree drop in a few hours. That's amazing.

Too bad a few folks find negativity in this thread.  Seems like a lot of effort to see things that way.  I'd hate to live like that.

I'm just glad that so far we've had a relatively mild one so far.  I know there's plenty more winter to come, but I'll take all the nice weather I can get.

I'm going fishing tomorrow...... Again.

Don't you wish you lived down here. lol

Now now Fluke, it's not nice to tease our feller bass brothers who aren't blessed as well as we are..

Fluke, if I had a buck or two, you don't know how easy it would be for me to be at your door step tommorrow.  And you wouldn't get rid of me until spring thaw. ;D

Today we have a high of 80* and a low of 65*  ;)

This morning at 7:00 it was 50*, by 8:30 it was 27*, wind blowing at 28 M.P.H. gusting to 40 M.P.H. and a wind chill of 11*.

All the metal in my spine is wreaking havoc on me due to the cold and the drastic barometric changes. I'm not a happy camper right now.

Sorry for the whine.

It was 75 at 8:00 here this morning. It is now 44* with a 20-25 mph north wind. Had to turn off the a/c.

Glenn, you are allowed  a little whinning with the weather you guys get. Glad it is ya'll. Ours never last long.
