Well, the only "poo poo" I've had was in Hawaii.  It was a polynesian dish, if I recall.  Just basically a bunch of appetizers.

This is why I never answer this mooks threads! Elaine and I just enjoyed a Pu Pu Platter, at the Sun Yee Chinese restaurant It had an assortment of various grilled Chinese and Japenese finger food. We go there every time i am here. So Long Mike you are correct they do serve pu pu platters at Chinese Restaurants all over Brooklyn,

I have also seen one on a Menu in a Hawaiian Restaurant.

Menu Description: pu pu platter

An assortment of Chinese and Japanese appetizers : egg rolls, fried wontons, tempura shrimp, skewered teriyaki steak, ,BBQ Ribs and Roast Pork,

Americianization has seen these in a lot of places that serve any type of Asian/Eastern grilled or Hibachi cooked appetizers.

I would say at least 5 or 6 Chinese Resturants in China Town, I have patronized my whole life have them as a feature item on thier appetizer menu. Much the same way most Pizza Places in Brooklyn now serve Jamacian Meat patties, it lends itself to fast food orders.

I remember when I was a little kid, my brother and I went into an uncontrollable laughing fit when the waitress at a Chinese restaurant said "Pu Pu Platter". Those were the days.
