HEY FELLAS: I will not answer anymore posts by anyone under 18 years old, it's for my own sanity!

I'm done paying $5 for admission to my old HS's basketball games and being disgusted the entire time I'm there.

To not let a dang fish outsmart me. Going for double digit bass this year. ;D

I'm going to try not buying any rods or reels this year. This should make for an interesting year.

(typing this all the while thinking about a new swimbait setup)

In that line of thinking, I resolve to not buy any crankbaits that cost less than $10.

Take time to turkey hunt and trout fish this year. Book a trip with Randall to Lake Varner in February. Clean up my yard and junk shed (it got neglected during deer season :-[). Sell my extra pickup and the parts from my junk outboard.

You need to spend a day in late April/ early May on the New River with me and Pitchinkid, you can do that in a day.

I don't make resolutions. The term "resolution" has such a negative connotation. I set and meet goals throughout the year.

My 2009 Resolution is to NEVER make a New Years Resolution again.

I'm giving up French Fries and gallons of ice cream.

We think alike!

My reason is every time i made one i ended up breaking it...So this year was my resolution "never again".

To quit smoking. ( made it 20 hours )

Support is here if needed :)

I'm going with 1 bait, 1 rod

...for the entire year or just each outing? Whichever it is, GOOD LUCK!!

Anyone interested in a friendly bet?  ;D

I'm going to try to  gain a few pounds.

Just try to have a better year than 2008.

Mine is to fully quit cursing this year.

BTW, I made my first NY resolution last year to lose weight and I'm proudly 57lbs lighter than I was last year.  (and still going)

I already tried this.  It lasted about one trip.  He won't last 3 outings.  And I'm not talking about the 30 minute, after dinner fishing trip either.

With the exception of Hookemdown, who is wise beyond his years, I'm going to try to do the same - unless some kid tries his text messaging technique when posting on this board.  When this occurs, I feel that it is incumbent on all members to set the kid straight.

The first thing that came to my mind after reading this was Booger from Revenge of the Nerds: "I've been combin' the high-schools all day." ;D
