Are any of you fellow Eagle fans having an ulcer about Sunday's game already :-/??   It is going to be one 'H-E-double hockey sticks' of a game!!  The regular season match-ups are always intense, so this should prove to be quite the chess match.

Avid Giants fan here so I gotta say the birds are gonna go down.  The Gmen are gonna nip their wings so to speak.

I'm joining the Eagles side. I am a Titans fan though. I've said this a while back, the Eagles are the hottest team right now and I predicted them to play Carolina in the championship game and then against either Pittsburgh, Titans (hopefully), or Ravens. Just need to stick with a balanced offensive game plan and I think their D can handle the rest.

After that narrow win versus the Panthers I wouldn't be so sure. Casey makes that kick much more often than not.

True, but, I don't think that either team was showing the full bag of tricks in that game. They each probably figuered that one way or another they'd be seeing each other again.

Actually, maybe he makes that kick more often not in Carolina, a dome, or some other fair weather stadium....but a 50 yarder in December at Giants stadium on a windy night?..... : Let's just say I wasn't that worried when they lined up to take it.

That game was close the entire time, so I don't think you can say that the Giants "wore them out". If they do meet again in the NFC Championship I think we will see a different outcome, even if it is in Giants Stadium on a windy night. : (That's if they get past the Eagles.)

Sorry, but that is what happened.

Carolina's D was sucking wind by the 4th, and weren't not prepared to go into overtime with a physical team like the Giants. They flat got wore out. The Giants took them into deep water and they couldn't handle it.

PS. I ain't scared of the Eagles! 8-) Maybe a little nervous

PPS. I wouldn't be so sure that the Pathers are gonna walk right through the Cards. They SHOULD, but Warner just might slice up Carolina's mediocre defense.  Stranger things have happened.

Looks like you've got that one right so far. It seams like at least once every year a team with a first round bye loses all of there momentum.

The Cards had it easy in that weather. They played a great game and the panthers stayed home.

Look like the outcome next week will be different. Giants stadium is not a freindly place in January. Especially for dome teams.

I thought my G-men had you on the run a nuber of times, but Philly stood firm. Especially the D.

Giants had the opportunities, but they didn't execute. I'm not crazy about some of the offensive play calling though. Why Gilbride kept sticking with the pass when the run game was working and it was CLEAR that this wasn't Eli's day from the start I'll never know. Oh well, next year.
