I think those guys messed with the wrong dude though. They are lucky the guy called the police, sounds like he might of killed one or more of the guys if they cops didnt come.

I hope those punks go to prison for a LONG time and have bubba for a cell mate.  Perhaps Marcus will run into to them while hunting when they get out.

Don't serial killers start off abusing/killing animals?

The Texas Rangers arrive and these guys, when the Texas Rangers are taking these guys away, Marcus has held them there by a gun. As the Rangers are taking these guys away, they're threatening Marcus' life and saying, "When we get out, we're coming for you next. First it was your dog. It's going to be you next. You don't know who you're messin' with." That's when Marcus kind of snapped just a little bit and said to the Ranger, "Excuse me, ranger, do you know who I am?" He said, "Yes, sir, Mr. Luttrell, I do." He said, "You might want to explain to these punks because I could have killed them 600 different ways and if I wanted to kill you guys after what you would have done what you just did to my dog, I would have pulled you down into my basement and I would have tortured you for days and you wouldn't have died until you begged me for death. So before you start saying you're going to come after me, you better learn who you've just whose dog you just killed."

Those kids were lucky....I have no doubt he could have done worst damage to them.

In young children, this can be a warning sign for antisocial personality disorder, but every kid who burns ants with a magnifying glass does not develop APD, and everyone with APD is not a serial killer, so it is difficult to make broad generalizations. I don't know much about the correlation between animal abuse and the likelihood of becoming a serial killer in adults, but I would guess that while it is possible they are related, every animal abuser is not a serial killer and every serial killer is not a current or former animal abuser.

Just in case yall want a little better story behind this.  This guy is definitely not somebody I would want to mess with.  Was awarded the Navy Cross which is stated in this news write-up.  He lives here in Huntsville, TX where I live.  Good to know we have people like this around.

There wasn't one.The punks just thought it was funny killing other people's dogs.No saying how many more they did before getting caught.Basically out joy riding causing trouble.

He's an ex seal. Told the 911 operator during the chase he would kill them if he caught them. They let him go home and arrested two or three of the runners. Good decision.

That was just all bad    Very sad story.

On the other hand, that was also the most "poorly written storey" I've read in a long time, as well. I hope the writer for that didn't actually get paid. Might have just been one of those things...... I forget what they call it, but somebody is interviewed on the spur of the moment, and everything they say is just put directly into print, stutters, repeats, and all.

Yeah that article looked like it was written by a 12 year old. But I'm not gonna lie if that happened to me and I caught those douches, I would've AT LEAST shot them in the legs or something. They deserve much worse than prison. It's terrible there's people like that out there. Straight trash.

Reminds me of the movie "The Shooter" where the guy goes "you don't understand, these guys killed my dog."
