Guys this forum is my home away from home, I absolutely love this site like family, haha. But I'm off and gone the 17th for 21 weeks for ARMY (active duty) basic combat training, Infantry A.I.T. (Advanced Idividulized Training) and Airborne jump school.. And I'm gonna be having Bass Resource withdrawls I already know it haha.. Honestly I wanted to say thank every1 on this website for helping in ways that are unimaginable. Everyone has been great, Catt, Roadwarrior, Burley, Mirco, etc. Just wanted to say that and let ya'll know I'll be out and not posting for a while and it's not because I'm stoppin fishing, its because I cant fish haha, or use the internet for that matter.. HOOAH!!!

No, I was active duty.  Most of the time where you go for basic is determined by the MOS you selected.  Ft. Sill was mainly artillery and air defense.  I was a Patriot Missile Button-pusher (14E) so I ended up at Sill.  That place sucked.  I could not think of a reason to ever visit Oklahoma again in my life!

Sounds cool, but I hated it quickly!  Watching a radar run simulations and pretending to fire missiles (because they are too expensive to actually fire) is like sitting at home playing video games....not my thing at all!  Have fun, man.  Good luck!
