Who else agrees that there must be something else in Popov that turns any grown man who can hold his liquor into a nonsense-stuttering hobo? After my freshman year in college, Popov and Sailor Jerry will (hopefully) never be purchased again lol.

Popov is a step below rot gut.

Popov is just ipecac and water.  They make it just to crap with college students.

We used to call it Pukov. We used to take shots of cheap vodka in high school because, well, it was cheap. With all the preservatives in Popov, Dubra, Wolfscmidt, etc., you can get hangovers from just a couple shots  

At the liqour store I work at we can't keep Popov and Karkov on the selves. $10.99 for a 1.75 of Popov and $11.39 for a 1.75 of Karkov. I'm not a vodka guy though, even the Goose tastes like crap to me.

Vodka in general...bad news for me.  Tequila on the other hand, is another story.  And I'm not talking about Cuervo, unless you mean the Family Reserve.

Don Fernando Extra Anejo is one of my favorites.  Too bad it's no longr produced.   Asombroso is also really nice, as well as Herradura Suprema.
