.......tie on a new bait with mono, bite the tag end of the knot off, then when you tried to spit it out it somehow it slides down your throat ? :o

I did this last night. I sounded like I was yakking up a hairball. This nonsense went on for about half an hour until it worked itself out far enough for me to get it. I had snot running out of my nose for God's sake. My buddy was laughing so hard I thought he was going to fall out of the boat ;D I would have done the same if it was him.

I know, I know, "why didn't you use clippers, etc." but when the bite is hot we all do it.

Reminds me of the Curb Your Enthusiasm episode where Larry gets a specific kind of hair wrapped around his uvula  ;D

i switched to all braid,

but in the past with my mono........

i never had that happen, although i can feel your pain...... thats gotta suk.

    That's what I was going to say.  

Can't say I've done that. I usually clip. But I have cut my leader off of a C-rig and tied another hook on it... :D
