I recently purchased a few of these I was thinking of using them as Jig Trailers. My question is I am fishing a clear water pond with tons of grass cllumps throughout. Where is the ideal to pitch these jigs and expect a bite?

I'd be looking to pitch it into any holes in the grass you can see. Never know what might be hiding underneath. One of the lakes I fish frequently has lots of grass, and if I am pitching a jig, I often pitch it in the thickest stuff I can, the places where (hopefully) other anglers haven't tried.

Blk/blue and or Blueberry for stained water, you should try the Summer craw pattern in clear,been killing them on Cape Cod w/it, crystal clear water Summer Craw 5+ a couple of 4's, Blueberry a few 6+'s

You will love this bait, but I like to fish them on a T-Rig also. I got my two big bass last year on the Baby Paca craw ( 61/2 and a 7 1/2 two weeks apart). And I fish them on a C-rig and hang on. Colors that I like Greenpumpkin,Summer Craw,Watermelon Pepper,Black Blue or Black Shadow,Chartreuse Pumpkin,Pumpkin Pepper.

I know one thing for sure, you WILL be buying more!

I like to pitch and flip the bigger one ( the Paca Craw )into the thick stuff .

Be sure to try them Texas rigged in the grass as well.  Not just in the holes, but punch them through the thick stuff using a heavy weight.

These are great baits.  I have caught a ton of fish on them.

Those colors should work fine in your lake.

#1  I have been using them as a trailer on stand-up jigs.

#2  Fished alone on Shak-E2 jig heads.

What size hook do you guys like for the Baby Pacas?

The are a great lure T-rigged as well

I use them as a Jig trailer primarily however you can fish them anyway you want.

I caught a 6 lber on a Watermelon Red Baby Craw T-Rigged back during spawn. These craws are killer baits during the spawn in any color.

If you want to fish for big fish use the regular size craw on a t-rig with braided line and flip/pitch into treetops and such and you'll be surprised. I know I have been surprised with the bites I have gotten flipping/pitching into treetops and such.

I'm not a finesse angler but I've grabbed the power of a Paca Craw & a Spot Remover Jig
