I just started using firefox for my browser. I tried to change my avatar pic and it would not change. Later I logged back in under internet explorer and noticed that it had changed the avatar pic, but when browsing through firefox, it does not reflect it. Anyone else using firefox and experiencing problems?

Hold down your CTRL key and hit F5.  This forces the web browser to reload the page and refresh any cached data that it may have stored.

This works for IE or FireFox

I stopped using firefox about a year ago. I use Google Crome now and I have had far fewer problems. IE? Forgettaboutit...unless I have to use it for those rare pages that the other browsers do not work well with.

That is good advice for most any browser. Firefox, Crome and Safarie all have an issue where they do not like to refresh the data as much as they should.

If I continue to have issues, I just pick up my rod and go fishing.  All problems solved.  

Are your photos linked to winsock_FTP?

If so, it may be a refresh issue, rather than a web browser issue.

Thanks for the replies.  I will try refreshing more often with the cntl and f5 key.  It sounds like that could be the ticket.

I have had FF for years, I switched from IE a few years ago, and I love it. No problems for me.

Opera 10 here and love the speed dial feature...better than all the rest if ya ask me...check it out

Good thing I didn't suggest the key combo that forces the browser to close...

I actually work for a MS gold partner and had to switch to FF when I.E. 8 came out. They broke 8 with the install and somehow "just reinstall windows." was not an acceptable fix for me.

Same thing happened to my mother and a friend of mine. Both now use FF as well. I love MS but sometimes they are their own worst enemy.

You can revert back to IE7.  The instructions are on their website. I did it.  It's simple and easy to do.
