sittim here at the hospital waiting for my first of hopefully many offspring to decide if she wants to come out or not. coming up on hour number 8. wish i had a hamburger or 4. peanut m&ms are not cutting it anymore.

First ones always the tough one, especially for her!

Better them than us! ;D

I have 3 now myself, been there done that.

Hope everything goes well man!

Good luck man!! Our first was 14 hours and of course labor did not begin until 7pm so it was a LONG night. Anyone who doubts how tough your wife is, only need to stand by her side through labor.

Congrats! The first one is tough for them as I've been told by my wife. Definitely better them than us too! I just don't know if I could do it. But congratulations! Boy or girl?

Congrats, It took my wife 18 hours for the first one and 8 hours for the second. When my wife was in labor the first time it was Easter Sunday. We were just getting ready to sit and eat when she went into labor. That was a long day and I was starving since I was smelling the food before I left.

Best Wishes for Momma and your new arrival, hopes of good health for all PitchenKid. God Bless.

I must've been one of the lucky ones, my wife and I walked in the H, she plopped herself on the table,  the nurses and doc came in,   15mins of labor and out came our daughter. ;)

ok. sorry for the delay but i finally have an update.Wife was in labor for 24 hours. She only dialated 4 cin. So they had to do a c-section. Well when they started to cut on her she could feel it. So they had to put her under. Pretty scary for a second. Moments later Bailey Jo Fernatt came into this world. She was 7 lb 15 oz and 19 1/2 long. Mom and baby are fine. Baby had to spend some time in the sun booth because of a high chance of Jaundice. But everything is good and we are getting out of here tomorrow. Pics coming soon. Thanks for all the congrats.

Congratulations! Glad everything is ok.

Congrats!!!

great news man! Don't sweat the jaundice too much. Out of my 4 kids 2 of them got it to some degree. My second after we got her home she turned yellowish on us. A few days of sun and some messy diapers later, she was fine.

Congrats on the little one and especially to your missus on the job well done.

Congrats again man.  My wife had to go the c-section route as well. First time was emergency so I wasn't even allowed back with her, and the second time I saw more of my wife than I ever wanted to.   :o
