AT&T: Internet access on cell network drops

I had a few complaints from folks who couldn't access the site from their iPhones recently.  Turns out there were no site issues at all.  AT&T's network failed, and they're still having problems:

I haven't had any issues at all but I am in Florida.

Everything has been more than perfect in the northeast as well  8-)

Glenn, are you saying that people are trying to access BR from their phones?  Gawd, I love this site, but there ain't no way I'm going to spend any time (or money) logging on to the forums and trying to read a little-bitty screen which covers topics I could easily wait to get home for and read on my big screen.  It must be an Old Fart thing. ;D

I haven't had any trouble with the site on my iPhone...I usually use it at work or when the old lady is on the computer

Man, take 10 days to go to Fla. and things go to pot. I was assured all issues have been resolved. Carry on

A lot of people will tether their phone to a laptop or pc, which provides internet access from basically anywhere you go. This is what I'm doing anyway...

I typically have connect issues to BR using AT&T, but a couple disconnects/reconnects will usually hash out the AT&T sludge. In my experiences AT&T has typically been the bottleneck.

I use my Blackberry Storm to connect to BR all the time. Although not with the standard browser, I loaded Opera Mini which works a lot better.
