Buying Our First House

Featured Replies

We are buying our first house. It was my Fiance's grandmother's house and we are really excited. We got a good deal on it. It is a 3 br 2 ba 1250sq ft. with a big screened in back porch. 1.6 acres and it is water front. We close on the 24th of November.

This $8,000 first time homebuyer tax credit is awesome.

Congrats...we closed on our house in Feb. and used the first time buyer credit and an FHA loan for the down payment.

Love the pond. How much are you paying for it? Just curious.

I'm only going to say $5,000 less than it appraised for and the seller is paying for the 3% of closing costs and the Inspection, Appraisal, and Survey.

You buy your house with no money down?
