There have been several; Conway Twitty, George Jones, Kenny Rogers, Marty Robbins, Ronnie Milsap and many others.  But, I admit, George Strait is one of my favorites.

Can't go wrong with Waylon. The only "current" artist I am feeling right now is Hank III. I just don't like his latest offering.

I really like the new stuff (sans Taylor Swift).  The old stuff?  Not so much, despite growing up on it.

Really the only new artist I will listen to is Jamey Johnson, His Waylon Jennings cover of "the door is always open" is AWESOME. He deserved that award btw.

and Hank III is cool, I really liked him in superjoint ritual and of course when he sings his grand daddy's songs.
