Bunch of New Fish Pics

well i cleaned the tank today and added the driftwood.

my fish really seem to like the driftwood and spend a lot of time in/around/under it, and their colors are really popping because they feel more secure now.

decided to take a few new pics.

here are some of the pumpkinseeds:

thanks guys! my crayfish found himself a home inside one of the crevices in the driftwood! ;D

Every time you post these it makes me want to get a tank for bluegill so I start looking around for one then I'll find a good deal on like a 55 gallon, and always seem to decide against it. haha

I would it's just I have too many other expensive hobbies and not enough spare time to take care of the tank and stuff.   :-[ Maybe if I come across a free one somewhere. A while back someone at my work was giving away a free 55 gallon tank because they couldn't take it with them when they moved and I didn't even think about it at the time otherwise I would've jumped all over that!

Ya know...if you were to put those fish in a 100 gal. tank, they'd be even happier..

The bigger the tank, the better they grow.. ;)

oh i know. i'd love to have a 100 gallon tank! that would be so awesome!

but i'm going away to college next year and so i'm barely even going to see my tank any more, as i'm not bringing it with me. my dad will take over tank responsibilities.

maybe after college i'll look into getting a 100 gal ;) or bigger!

Wow that is looking great. I wish I had room for one myself.

nope, not unless one of these dies and i need a replacement. i really like sunfish and i'm pretty happy with the ones i have. i would like to get a warmouth or green sunfish though. right now i don't have enough room to add any more sunfish. when all the ones i have get full grown it will be very crowded and i'll probably have to relocate a few.

here's another. i think this one is just awesome. its really clear and the lighting is good and the colors on the fish are just awesome.

I like your native setup. The drift wood really sets it off.

MORE PICS!

this time i got some pics of my redbreast sunfish. i haven't really taken many pics of this little guy mainly because he doesn't color up a whole lot. i just got some good pics of him though.

chillin under a log:

peering through some sticks:

The plants are going to look great. Look forward to seeing the pics when you get them.  This thread is really making me want to start a tank. Maybe this spring.

yeah i'm waiting on the lady from the fish store to call me saying whether or not she was able to get the plants. if she wasn't able to, i'll check out petsmart, and if they don't carry what i'm looking for i'll just buy online.

you should totally get a tank! they're so cool! fish are very fun to watch and feed.
