i want to change my life,

1. I'm a a**hole to my family

2. i dip, and smoke i want to quit

3. i want to be closer to god

4. and i want to lose weight and gain muscle.

any ideas to help with these?

(i am already working out, and am quiting dip)

Just remember, if you try to take on too many things at once, the likelihood of failing at all of them is greater than if you focus on one or two things at a time.

Good luck.

Fix this problem first. Once you have rebuilt a solid relationship with your family, realizing your other goals will be much easier.

Revolution?

He's declaring war on himself to become a better person.

Capitalize the letter "I" when referring to yourself.

Those first two are serious issues for being just 15.

I've got a simple one for myself, STOP SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I agree, solve number one first and formost. If you can build a stronge relationship with your family, everything else should follow.

at 15 years old i dont think i was Arse to my family but i was very self centered. the reason parents often know best is because chances are we were the same bratty kid you might be now. the best advice id give is try not to take family matters personal. i love it when my kids tell me why theyre mad, often its something silly and can be fixed.

#2) i smoked at a young age because it made me feel as though i was all grown up. at 40 years old, mature to me is knowing as a youth you can smoke/dip and not get bust, BUT still dont.

#3) join the club

#4) join the club again and that could be as easy as changing the food you eat and seeing what phisical activities you can do at school.

1. Easiest one, stop being an arse. See what you can do to help the family (chores, part time job, etc)

2. Quit dipping and smoking. Just quit. Strap a big boy set on and quit. It'll suck for a few days, but you'll get through it. If you're really only 15 it shouldn't be too hard. Exercise, water, and fresh air helps alot with this.

3. Read, not necessarily a bible, but educate yourself on the religion you choose to follow.

4. Get off the couch, out of the house, away from the tv/video games. At your age, it'll go fast. Practice some self control when eating. Take up a sport, be it basketball, football, tennis, whatever, and try to do it 3-4 times a week for at least an hour. Pick-up games are great. Ultimate frisbee and soccer were some of the most athletic sports i ever tried.

Most of all, just do it. None of those things require anything more than determination to do it.  Don'tmake excuses or give yourself "outs".  make it happen.  You are only responsible to you for what does or doesn't happen with this.  Good luck

First of all, good luck.  You have set some lofty goals.  As many will tell you, realizing you have a problem is the biggest step.  Everyone here in the forums will be the first to tell you they are not perfect.  Keep your head up, take pride in what you do, and know that you have to crawl before you learn how to walk.
