Green high lighted words in the forum posts ?

Featured Replies

When I read post in this forum and on some other sites there are ramdom words high lighted  and underlined in green. When I run the cursor over the word a small ad pops up . Is there a way to get rid of this  ? Just noticed it a few weeks ago. -Thanks

My guess is that you have some kind of virus or malware - you may want to check with somebody lots more knowledgable than me to check it out and see what can be done if this is the problem.

Which browser are you using?

i've had that happen on very few other sites before but never this one. when i'd roll over the random word thats highlighted it would pop up like some kind of bing sponsored results thing. but i've never had that happen on this site. i think it has to be built into the site unless you have some kind of malicious software like shad master said.

Get Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy.  Both are free and do an excellent job of ferreting out and blocking the bad guys.

Look in your installed programs list. If you don't recognize something Google it and see what comes up.
