Real football starts in a couple of weeks.

Preseason football is LAME!!!  The games mean nothing and the real players barely even step foot on the field.

I'm very happy for the world cup.  Otherwise there wouldn't be ANY sports worth watching during the summer.

Germany really missed Müller yesterday. They just coudn't get the counter-attack going like they had against England and Argentina. Özil not having his best game didn't help either...

Very true.  I was really hoping for a better match.  Spain looked pretty lackluster as well.  That header from Puyol was just beautiful though.

I agree! Ozil just looked awful compared to previous games. I even heard an announcer say how nervous he looked walking on to the field...

Really hard for Germany to look good when they never had the ball.  Spain's passing, especially 2nd half was beautiful to watch.

It's got to be tough to keep your nerves under control when you're that young and playing in a World Cup semifinal. He did show his talent and potential in the earlier games though. I'm just hoping Manchester City can make a deal for him before some other team does.

Simply an atrocious game.  The goal by Iniesta was nice.  I can't believe Robben didn't score on either of his chances.  Spain deserved the win though.  The Dutch were hammering them all day long.  They should have been down to 10 men early in the game with that flying judoesque side kick.  At least the third place game was worth watching.

Between bicycle races and soccer I think my tv is a piece of @#$#. Thank God for my motorcycle and bass boat.

I was rooting for 3 teams this year: USA (of course), Netherlands, and Germany. (I was stationed there a few years back.)

My signature sums it up.
