Les Stroud was actually the only survival show I enjoy. You might check out Dual Survival. It's a pretty good watch. Good tidbits of knowledge here and there.

yeah i've kept up with Dual Survival since it started. its probably the best survival show since Survivorman.

Survivorman was awesome. Not interested in the rest.

Les Stroud and Chuck Norris have been in a continous arm wrestling match since Survivorman ended.

they don't put them in real world situations, i think dual survival is better, but by far the best was survivor man

Survivorman was awesome because the guy not only had to make it alone but also tap himself doing it.

you are close, the wife wouldnt stand a chance alone in the jungle, but also when making a shelter the husband found a turtle to eat and the wife got all upset because a turtle was here favorite animal, he did eventually release it because of his wife, she was also wondering when building a raft if a a heavy log will float

glad i'm not the only one! he has that crazy annoying tough-guy tone to his voice. it doesn't fit him at all and that can't be the natural way he talks.

is there anywhere i can give this show a really terrible rating so discovery will cancel it? ;D

Man woman wild is one of the worst shows I've ever seen. I can't watch more than 20 minutes before I have to change the channel. I thought dual survival looked lame, but I've started watching it and I really like it. I really want survivorman to come back, I love that show. It annoys me how they don't even play repeats anymore. Does anyone know why it was cancelled?

from what i heard, les Stroud decided to call it quits back in 08 because he was tired of doing it. i think because he was tired of dragging all that d@mn camera equipment! so it wasn't really cancelled per-say

also i think he pulled the plug because on a tv show he was interviewed (cant remember the name of the tv show) and he said that it took weeks to recover from the starving and exposure.
