What insipid, vapid drivvle. At some point, while I watched it with my 13 year old daughter, I flipped the channel during a commercial. I flipped it to a PBS channel with a great show about lions and hyenas. I changed it back just in time for the CHOICE SMILE AWARD. My daughter looked at me and asked, Daddy, can we go back to the lions and hyenas? I'd rather watch that.

I don't know what's worse though, MTV reward shows or Nickelodeon ones (although, they are owned by the same company... Guess that says a lot).

I was watching something before that on the same channel, and then the opening came on.  I watched that first act, but didn't want to.  As I told my wife, "It's like seeing a bad train wreck.  You want to turn away, but can't!"  But then after that, I couldn't change the channel fast enough!  It was THAT bad!

Huh?  No, it was on Fox. LOL! At least it was in my area.  I don't watch Nickelodeon, MTV or whatever those kids channels are.

My old boss, a grown man, told me a few years back that I HAD to watch spongebob, it was sooo funny.  I am always willing to watch a good cartoon so I did, it was awful, I hate that show!!  What ever happened to Woody Woodpecker, Looney Tunes?  That is what I watched as a kid.  I do however enjoy the newer animated movies like Open Season, Madagascar, Shrek etc etc.  As for the teen awards, I saw that dark haired chick singing in the beginning, and switched it before the headache set in!
