Was out a couple weeks ago and picked up a hitch hiker on one of the rods in the boat.

The rod loooks like a Loomis, the insect looks like the Skeet Reese version.

Your camera sucks.

I'd put it up against yours.   ;)

Stick a hook through that thing and put it in the water already...

Nice picture, you must have a very steady hand. It is difficult to take macro shots like that.

If you just look at its face it really looks like a badass.

I bet you would pervert.

Oh god camera porn, keep it clean guys :P

Speed that's a great photo. I have a hard time taking macro's like that because I'm always shaking (too much coffee HA). What kind of camera do you use?

That one is a Nikon D40, 18-55mm Nikkor lense.

Wife won't let me take the D5000 out. It shoots HD 720p video which would be REAL nice.

Its amazing what the upper end DSLRs are doing.  The season finale of House,  I believe it was, was filmed entirely on a Canon 5D.

LUCKY! I really wish I would have spent the extra hundred dollars and got an SLR that shoots HD video (or video at all!). I currently have a Sony Alpha A230 but it doesn't go fishing with me :( I only take my Droid with me, it takes decent photos but forget about doing any macro on it...
