Ok, game on!  Let's post our comments and thoughts as we watch the first official NFL game of the season!

My first thought - that has got to be one of the worst renditions of the National Anthem that I've heard in a long, long time!

QBs look like they could use some more preseason games to get the rust out. 

I am soooooo glad football started again. I was having withdrawal symptoms really bad. :D Even though they sux GO REDSKINS!!

Brett was not in game playing shape. May be his age or his avoidance of training camp. The Saints I thought played like SB Champs. But as Sam said the QB's still have to get their timing down. Good to have Football back.

The sign of solidarity at the beginning of the game was a bit much, I hope a lockout is not in the future.

Wasn't a bad game.  Neither team was really up to par.  The Vikings have some glaring issues in the secondary right now.  Great to get the first game in the books and everything geared up for the weekend.

Man I love this time of the year....

Missed the national anthem but received a text from TheBeast stating that it was pretty terrible.

I fell asleep during the game.  ;D

I missed the anthem and only watched first half.  Peterson got me over 10 points for fantasy league, so that ws good.   ;D

That game was boring and I thought it would be a great one. The Saints don't look like the team they were last year but it's still early. That version of the National Anthem made me cringe. Why can't people just sing it the way it's supposed to be sang. And she said the wrong words one time that I heard. Just plain awful.

yea the national anthem sucked the way it was sung but the preshow with dave mathews bands was really good.

Favre got 5 shots to his knee to be able to play. that had to be miserable

Both teams were flat, but someones gotta win...
