SNEAK PEAK from Berkley

Just got these from Berkley. They're the 5" Crazy Legs Jerk Shad. I don't know yet when they'll be available, but would expect to see them in the late fall.

The jar has been completely redesigned, and is "resealable".

Resealable, it's about time. There's nothing worse than having that jar shift in your tacklebag and having gulp juice spilled all over your stuff.

Does the remote control them? :-/

;D

Yes,  Thats how you take the lid off.

Nice insight thanks Glenn.

The video shows it all.  It's after the swimbait portion.

Funny, it's on Youtube and apparently on the shelves in MN, but the package I recieved said it was debuting here at ICAST this week.

The jar is fairly big, which is why I put the remote next to it for scale.

Resealable - boy I sure hope it's completely leak proof!  I'll let you know what my experience is.

Not really a big Gulp fan but the bait looks pretty cool.  I would love to hear some feedback on them before I make a purchase.

I don't like gulp either, because it pulls in the sunfish.  It looks like those little curlies would get nipped off by a sunny in a minute.  Interesting though.

i have seen that shaped jar on shelves to but i don't think they where the jerk shads

Ok I'm very tempted leakproof or not. Who in Minnesota wants to do me a favor and pick me up 2 jars. I'll send the cash by paypal.

if i go to the berkley store ill see if they have any and ill let you know

The liquid is the magical formula that makes Gulp! what it is.

He ain't lying, at the lake I fish at I've caught hybrids, Bass, white bass, channel cats, walleye and crappie on Berkley Gulp sometimes on a jighead and sometimes under a bobber.

I was at the Cabelas in Rogers, MN last night and saw some similar jars but did not see the same lures as Glenn posted.

I think they were 19.99 a jar.

I've done fairly well with the minnows and very well with the leeches.  Will definitely be giving these a try.  I carry the old style jars in a small styrofome cooler to prevent messes.
