Rapala makes a crankbait series called the DT Sure Set series. Theres a series of 5 lures for their 4 depths of the same lures. What I and many others do though is buy the hooks that are on the Sure Set series DT crankbaits and put them on our regular DTs as its the same body. Thanks man i saw those hooks at BPS down in destin and hesitated on pickin them up looks like ill be makein a trip there in a week or 2! haha

I hesitated becuz a guy there said there really easy to beak and you get snagged more often then usually he just recomended replaceing trebles every 2 weeks to a month instead of spending the money on those.

hmm what are your thougths on that?

That guy hasnt a clue what he's talking about.. probably used the DT crankbaits a couple times if even that.

Shallow to mid depth flat sided cranks - Lucky Craft Flat CB Series, Norman Flat N, Rapala Shad Rap, Reaction Innovations Method

Spinnerbaits - 1/2 oz. Single Colorado or Double Willow

Topwaters - Lucky Craft Sammy 100, Reaction Innovations BL Vixen or Super Spook Junior

Suspending Jerkbaits - Pointer 100 and 78

Jigs with plastic trailers

Carolina Rig plastic

Gambler Swim Blades

1. spinnerbait for pitching into cover in fall.

2. jig n pig for drop offs and cover in deep water where it is warm.

3. deep divers for both winter and fall like a wart hog divers (18')

4. soft plastics like flukes, worms, lizards and craws for both times of the year.
