I just came on here to post this, but you beat me to it Tin.

In other waiver wire news, the Bills picked up Shawne Merriman. As a Bills fan I'm glad they didn't go after Moss, but I support the move they did make

Play action to Chris Johnson, Moss over the top. Watch out!

he should be a good role model for Vince, wait until they lose a game and he blows up the locker room. :D

Thank god someone picked him up before the Cowboys could get him!  I don't know what I'd have done if they would've made this season even worse by picking him up.

at least he would give the cowboy fans something to take their mind off losing

If the Cowboys wanted him, they would have had him. The only team ahead of the Cowboys in waiver order is the Bills.

I think he would have retired before he played for the cowboys especially since they passed on him in the draft.

And he will be a problem. Watch the team start to have internal problems. It will have an effect on the number of wins.

His presence on the side line, in the locker room, and in front of the cameras is more negative than anything he might do on the field IMO. They can have him.

You are right!  I guess the Cowboys mgmt isn't quite as dumb as I think they are.

I don't think he will be that big of a problem really.  Not for one year.  I would guess he's realized if he wants another payday he'll play the last 8 games of this season.

And to top it off he'll get the ball thrown to him.  The titans don't have anyone else that is a legitimate threat to catch the ball except britt, and he's hurt.  They don't have a wr on the field until last week that could draw a double team, and he got hurt.  This takes one more guy out of the box so CJ can run the ball now.  When britt gets back on the field, and he keeps doing what he's already done, they will be dangerous.

I think Fisher can keep him under control for 8 games. I'm pretty sure Moss realizes after getting traded, then cut 26 days later, that it might be in his best interest to play a little football if he wants one more decent contract.

I agree,  If he gets dumped again he will probably be gone for good.  He needs to grow up and shut up.  He has a great talent but no one wants to deal with that crap.

when he left the pats, they went 3-0. when he was with the vikes they went 0-3. the media down here in florida is killing the dolphins for not picking him up. i am glad they did not pick him up and merriman is a joke. after he got busted for roids 3 years ago, he has 3 sacks and has missed a bunch of games because he is always injured. the titans were a good team, now they have issues. just watch.

The highlighted portion is simply false. Merriman had two good years after he got busted, it was only after his knee injury that he began to struggle. Even if he never does return to top form, even as a shell of his former self he instantly becomes the Bills best linebacker the first time he steps on the field on game day, sad as that is to say. At 26 years old, if he can stay healthy there is just as good a chance that he will return to his probowl form and be good for years to come as there is that he will stink and be out of the league in a year. Either way, the Bills can't lose by picking him up. The current linebacking corps literally can't get any worse if he doesn't work out, but they get much better if he does. They didn't have to cut anyone because they IR'ed a useless offensive lineman to make room for him on the roster, and even if he doesn't stay in Buffalo past this year, there's a chance the Bills get a compensatory draft pick for him. This was a good move by the Bills.

I really don't see any issues, it isn't like we gave up a 3rd round pick for the guy ::). Just like I said I'm sure he knows what's up, and if he acts up they will let him go, Fisher kept Haynesworth on a leash and look at what is happening in Washington, he's ticking and moaning b/c he doesn't want to play a 3-4 defense. Good coaches(Belichick, Fisher) know how to deal with those kinds of egos.

I guarantee you the Pats would have picked him up if he had made it back to them. I mean, if that would have happened, all it would have been was a loan for a month(for free), and a 3rd round pick. Sounds like a good deal to me. ;)

The Pats wouldn't have picked up him they would have just signed him to a new deal.

This Titan offense is scary...pull the safeties up and Moss is free, cover Moss and Chris Johnson goes for big runs. Not too mention I think this is the first good QB that can let the ball fly after scrambling and having the coverage loosen up on Moss while he keeps running.

Just plain scary...but they have to play the Fish, Texans twice, Colts twice, along with KC and the Skins who can be Jekyll and Hyde.

That's why it's a perfect pickup, the titans never had a receiver that can do that to a team.

And don't say Derrick Mason was one, Wychek drew more double coverage that Mason ever could. ;)

A WR usually doesn't instantly make a team better, but that's not the case here.  No more 8 guys in the box.

I think the titans are gonna go off and he is not going to be a problem. The patriots would have signed him after waivers. Coaches seem to have too many feelings and the get hurt when moss tells the truth.

Yea, the Titans my have the fire power now to actually beat the Colts right now. Even tho I think the Colts are the best team in the league with the way Peyton Manning is playing right now.  Sometime I wonder if Peyton Manning drafted himself in fantasy football because on 1st and 1 on the goal line sometimes I'm not surprised when he tries to pass it 4 times in a row.

On that note I think it would be cool for Peyton Manning to say a draft pick at the Draft.  I can see it now....

"With the 32nd pick in the draft, Peyton Manning (since we all know it would be cool to hear him talk in the 3rd person) selects firstname, lastname.... receiver from Ohio State...."

2 days later...

"With the 256 pick of the draft, Peytom Manning selects firstname, lastname, tackle from Michigan State."

Announcers: "Well there you have it, Peyton Manning with his 7 picks selected 4 receivers and 3 left tackles!!"

Hahahaha!!!
