How many of you are cooking a turkey and having your wife or significant-other cook one?

My wife bakes a great turkey, her secret is a 24 hour brine recipe.  I on the other hand have been craving a deep fried turkey.  Thus, the great turkey cook off between husband and wife has started.  She swears her's will be better, but its hard to beat a fried turkey!!

Just finished injecting Mr. Tom and dry rubbing it!!

Deep fried wins hands down.

For God's sake man , even if your turkey is better , lie to her and say her's is the best .

Fried turkey is sooooo much better.

No comparison to a baked bird.

Try a fried pork roast, too. 5-minutes a pound. Out of sight!!!!

I have to bake two pineapple casserole dishes, green bean casserole, broccoli casserole and  bake a cake.  All before 2o'clock tomorrow.  And what will the wife be doing while I'm cooking?  Probably watching football :'(

Well.  We officially know who's wearing the pants up in your neck of the woods.   

Hey, It's either wear the pants and starve or put on the skirt to eat. ;D

I do all the cooking, too. I favor a stuffed baked turkey

with all the trimmings. If I were to pick the one dish that

"makes the meal", it's the stuffing and gravy.
